Most companies approach ESG compliance in an action-driven way and simply want to meet the upcoming legal obligations. The much-discussed CSRD, which is now imminent, often serves as the first point of contact in sustainability reporting.

But beware: CSRD compliance is only one part of a broad spectrum of new laws and EU regulations and must not be equated with ESG compliance.
